 Dear Mike, This letter is to offer our thanks to you for your help and support in our search for a home over the past few months.  Our search took some interesting twists and turns in a search that was at first an attempt at helping our daughter find a home and then switched to finding a home for us.  You were patient with us during the entirety of this process, helping us make several offers that did not work out for a variety of reasons.  As we kept looking, you patiently guided us by continually pointing out homes that met our rather specific expectations.  The home that ended up working for us required digging deep and finding the home that was likely falling out of escrow.  Prompt attention to that detail is what put is in line for making a successful offer.

Our particular transaction had some unusual twists and turns.  I suppose each transaction is unique and each has its own set of complications or surprises but our process had some sticky situations develop that could have soured the whole deal – and at a point where a lot of effort, time and money was on the line. As a few things happened, there were a few specific moments that required a firm but respectful tone along with a tactful approach to make sure that others were not offended.  This deal could have easily fallen apart, but cool and measured responses on your part kept us on track.
